Penelope is a minor character in VeggieTales. She is friends with Mabel. She appears in the first episode, along with Mabel. She makes two major appearances, one as herself in "Lyle the Kindly Viking," an the other as Mama Belle in "Tomato Sawyer And Huckleberry Larry's Big River Rescue."

Penelope is a pear who wears a blonde wig. She has a dark green nose and grows a brown stem, which is covered by her wig. She doesn't appear to have eyelashes in some of the episodes.
